The objective of work shop is to understand the legal structure; learn best practices and also how to raise funds for the children home.

This workshop is in response to the need that NGOs working with children expressed for a capacity building program on Juvenile Justice Act  2000. This topic was felt relevant in today's context where it has become mandatory for the NGOs to register their children homes with department / government. NGO fraternity sees this move as a measure to professionalize the services of the NGOs which are working with children home. This will protect children rights and help to build legitimate relationship with the government.
